Terms of Participation
By registering as a volunteer with Clallam Gleaners and attending events that we sponsor, you are agreeing to the following terms of participation:
- The mission of Clallam Gleaners is to recover fresh food in order to reduce waste, improve health, and provide reliable access to nutritious food for our neighbors in need. I will conduct myself in a manner consistent with that mission while attending Clallam Gleaners sponsored events.
- I will cancel my roster spot if, after signing up to lead a glean, I find that I am unable to attend.
- I will be punctual in arriving at gleans. If I have arranged a glean time with a homeowner, I will let them know if I have to reschedule or cancel.
- I will not smoke at gleans.
- I will not bring alcohol to gleans.
- I will not bring my dog to the glean site.
- I understand that gleans are conducted on private property that the owner has granted Clallam Gleaners permission to enter and glean. I will conduct myself in a manner that is respectful of the owner's property at all times.
- I will be respectful of other participants at gleans.
